SSC CGL Answer Key Overview

Staff Selection Commission releases the Answer Keys for Tier 1 & Tier 2 only as they are Online Objective Papers.No Answer Key is released for the Tier 3 exam as it is an offline paper. Tier 3 examination has a descriptive section in English/Hindi (writing of Essay/Letter/Application Writing/Precis) hence no Answer Key can be released. Documents Needed for SSC CHSL Application Form

Photograph 

The candidate's photograph must be clicked in front of a white or light-colored background. The size of the photograph should be between 4kb to 12kb Only. The resolution of the photograph must be 100*120 pixels.

The photograph should be recently clicked on or after January 2019 so there is no issue during later in the examination cycle.

Signature

The applicant will have to upload a scanned copy of their signature. The sign must be done with a blue or black ink pen on a piece of white paper. The Scanned copy of the Signature should be 1kb to 12kb in size with a resolution of 40*60 pixels. Please note that the digital copy of the signature should be uploaded in jpg/jpeg format only.

If the photograph is hazy or blurred then the application form will be rejected by the Staff Selection Commission.

How to Apply the NIC Application Form 2020?

Before filling up the form the candidates are requested to go through the official NIC Recruitment 2020 Notification and check their eligibility conditions.

  • The mode of application is online
  • No other means/mode of application will be accepted
  • candidates are required to have valid Email Id and an active mobile number

Go through the following steps to fill up the NIC Application Form 2020-

Step1-Registration on the official website-"NIC Website" with the Email Id 

Step 2-Fill up all the asked details such as name,father's name,Date of birth,educational qualification etc.

Step 3-Recheck all the details and click"Submit"

Step 4-Make the payment of the NIC Application Fee 2020 in online mode

NIC Application Fee 2020

The Application Fee is refundable and should be paid online. The bank charges towards remittance of the application fee if any, will have to be borne by the candidate. Fee through any other mode like cash, Demand Draft, Pay Order, Cheque, Challan will not be accepted. The application will be considered complete only after the successful completion of the above-given steps and paying the fee. In case the fee is not submitted by the closing date and time, the candidature will be rejected and no further complaint will be entertained. Check the NIC Application Fee for different categories-

NIC Selection Process 2020

As per the NIC Recruitment 2020 Notification, the selection of the Scientist B post is based on Written Examination and Interview. The selection of the  Scientific/Technical Assistant will be based on written examination. The Written Exam will be of 3 hours for both the posts and will be conducted in English Medium only. The exam will have objective type questions and is OMR Based.

NIC Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2020

The exam has two stages-Written Exam and the Interview. There will be 65% questions from the Technical Area and 35% from the generic areas. There will be around 120 questions where 78 questions will come from the Technical Area(Computer Science) and 42 questions from the generic area. Every correct answer will carry 1 marks and for every negative answer,0.25 marks will be deducted.

The minimum percentage to qualify written examination will be -

General/EWS 50%
OBC 40%
SC/ST/PWD 30%
